Côme Asset Management: Management as a Maison Competency
The financial environment has grown considerably more complex in recent years: a multiplication of asset classes, increasingly sophisticated allocation structures, tightening regulatory requirements. For a Maison Financière, fully accompanying a family’s wealth today requires the ability to mobilise, internally, an investment management expertise equal to that complexity.
It is in this logic that we built Côme Asset Management, and that we now fully integrate it into our definition of what a modern family office should be.
One more competency within the Maison’s architecture
Côme Asset Management is not an activity separate from our purpose as a family office. It is an additional competency, integrated into the Maison’s architecture alongside real estate, family governance, or wealth transmission.
The Côme Asset Management teams operate within a dedicated structure, distinct from our wealth advisory teams. This organisation ensures that every recommendation remains consistent with the client’s overall wealth strategy, and that any allocation proposed serves that client’s interest alone.
Co-built with our clients
Côme Asset Management was not designed from outside the client relationship. Every investment approach is co-built with our family officers and our clients, giving structured shape to needs that those we accompany had been expressing for several years.
It is precisely this co-conception logic that sets apart how we approach management: not as a function imposed from above, but as an expertise built together with those it serves.
Expertise at the heart of the model
The professionals who make up Côme Asset Management bring together several decades of experience across listed markets, private equity, and private debt. Some have been part of Côme since the Maison’s earliest days; others bring a deep institutional background.
This depth of expertise gives our family officers internal access to interlocutors capable of challenging an allocation, assessing the quality of an external proposal and, where relevant, directly overseeing an implementation — always as an extension of the overall wealth advisory relationship, never apart from it.
Three formats, one alignment
Côme Asset Management offers three formats of engagement, calibrated to the client’s desired level of involvement:
Traditional advisory, for those who wish to keep the familiar framework, enriched by our internal expertise.
Advised management, for those who remain in control of their investment decisions while benefiting from a reinforced execution process and deeper analytical support.
Discretionary management, for those who prefer to delegate implementation to a dedicated team, on the basis of a jointly defined mandate.
This choice reflects a simple conviction: only the client’s project should determine the level of involvement selected.
A market recognition
This integration was recognised in 2026 by Occur, which named Côme the best French family office with an integrated asset management arm. The jury was composed of entrepreneurs; this recognition therefore comes directly from those who live, day to day, with the wealth complexity that this integration seeks to serve better.
What this changes
The AMF authorisation – number GP-20260010 – formalises a competency that our clients and our family officers had themselves helped to define. Côme Asset Management is not a new strategic direction; it is the natural expression of what a complete Maison Financière should be today.
At Côme, asset management is not distributed. It is built, together with those it serves.
