Paul Cromback joined Côme Maison of Finance in March 2025 as a private equity analyst, bringing with him a journey marked by curiosity, international perspective, and a passion for investment in all its forms.

Born in Paris and raised in Brussels, Paul developed a European mindset early on. He studied finance at Bocconi University in Milan, then furthered his academic background with a master’s in management at ESCP, spending time between Madrid and Paris.

From his very first internships, Paul immersed himself in the world of investment—starting at an early-stage fund in Paris, then in Barcelona, where he supported tech entrepreneurs at the seed stage. This venture capital experience, centered on people and the start-up ecosystem, gave him a taste for entrepreneurship and a desire to deepen his financial analysis skills. He then moved into private equity, joining the Capital Development team at Audacia, a leading player in the French small caps segment, where he worked on a variety of transactions.

It was during a fundraising project—in the context of a club deal—that Paul first crossed paths with Côme. Drawn by the diversity of opportunities and the Maison’s culture of excellence, he joined the team, eager to contribute his rigor, enthusiasm, and ability to connect expertise.

At Côme, Paul stands out for his versatility and his ability to dive into the heart of each project, whether it involves direct investments, fund-of-funds, real estate, or club deals. He particularly appreciates the intellectual richness of the field, which demands both an understanding of families’ wealth needs and the complexity of unlisted assets.

An athlete at heart, Paul embodies a team spirit on the tennis courts, ski slopes, and in the mountains—a passion that took him to the summit of Kilimanjaro. This love of challenge and discovery shapes his approach to private equity: rigor, endurance, openness, and humility in the face of diverse situations and players.
