Middle Officer — Côme Asset Management

Christophe Kimou joins Côme Asset Management as Middle Officer, following a path built around a single discipline applied to very different worlds: understanding a new subject quickly, and making sure everything behind it holds up to the rules.

Trained at PSB (formerly ESG), he chose early on to step outside his comfort zone: a year on exchange in China, far from familiar ground. That same curiosity carried him from one world to the next. Through a work-study programme, he discovered management control at SNCF, then asset servicing at Caseis, a custodian banking subsidiary of Crédit Agricole. At Total, he took charge of consolidating around a hundred entities worldwide. In Luxembourg, he split his year between auditing listed and unlisted funds, discovering the investment world from the inside. At LCL’s Inspection Générale, he sharpened a method: faced with an unfamiliar subject, the first question to ask is always one of compliance.

At Côme Asset Management, this method finds new ground: everything is still to be built. Christophe oversees the full operational chain: asset valuation, operations management, cash flow and regulatory ratios compliance alongside Charles Brunswick and the fund managers. What he takes from this new chapter: the closeness of a small structure, where decisions are made quickly and built together — a different pace from the large organizations where he trained.
